Overview

The 2026 KX™112 is Kawasaki’s youth motocross machine engineered to bridge the gap between small-wheel 85cc models and full-size competition bikes. Built for Supermini-class racing and riders progressing in skill and stature, it delivers responsive two-stroke power, stable big-wheel handling, and a race-focused riding position that supports confident lap-after-lap pace.

Engine and Drivetrain

A liquid-cooled, carbureted two-stroke single powers the KX112 with crisp throttle response and strong mid-range pull suited to Supermini tracks. The close-ratio 6-speed transmission helps keep the engine in the sweet spot, while a lightweight exhaust system and efficient cooling are tailored for sustained performance during motos and practice days.

Chassis, Suspension, and Brakes

A sturdy perimeter-style frame gives the KX112 precise steering and predictable feedback over ruts, braking bumps, and jump faces. Long-travel, fully adjustable suspension components are tuned for competitive off-road use and allow riders and tuners to dial in settings as speed and track conditions change. The 19-inch front and 16-inch rear wheel combination increases stability and rollover capability compared to small-wheel youth bikes, and front and rear disc brakes provide consistent stopping power in dry, loamy, or muddy conditions.

Ergonomics and Fit

Slim bodywork, a flat seat profile, and narrow radiator shrouds support easy movement front to back for cornering and jumping. Adjustable handlebar positioning helps accommodate growing riders and enables fine-tuning of rider triangle and leverage. The overall package is designed to give developing racers room to progress without the size and weight of a full-size motocrosser.
