The 2025 Ninja ZX-10R KRT Edition brings Kawasaki Racing Team-inspired styling to a proven superbike platform. It combines a race-developed chassis, a responsive 998 cc inline four-cylinder engine, and a comprehensive electronics suite in a package designed for fast laps on track and composed performance on the street. The KRT Edition adds signature Lime Green/Ebony graphics that mirror Kawasaki’s factory WorldSBK livery.

Performance and Control

At its core is a liquid-cooled 998 cc DOHC four-cylinder tuned for strong midrange and high-rpm power, delivered through a close-ratio six-speed gearbox and an up/down quick shifter for clutchless shifts. Electronic throttle valves support selectable power modes and refined engine response. Kawasaki’s IMU-assisted systems provide multi-level traction control, launch control, and cornering management, helping the ZX-10R maintain stability and drive when leaned over or accelerating hard. Engine brake control lets riders tailor deceleration feel to conditions.

Chassis, Brakes, and Aerodynamics

An aluminum twin-spar frame and race-bred geometry give the ZX-10R quick turn-in with stability at speed. Suspension is handled by Showa’s Balance Free Front Fork and a BFRC-lite rear shock, offering consistent damping under heavy braking and over mid-corner bumps. Stopping power comes from radial-mount Brembo front calipers and large twin discs, paired with a radial master cylinder for firm, linear lever feel. Aerodynamic bodywork with integrated winglets contributes downforce to enhance front-end grip during high-speed acceleration and corner entry, while the windscreen and rider triangle are shaped for an effective race tuck.

Electronics and Rider Interface

The ZX-10R’s IMU-based rider aids integrate traction control, ABS with cornering function, power modes, and engine-brake settings. A color TFT instrument panel provides clear, at-a-glance information and smartphone connectivity, enabling ride data viewing and basic settings via Kawasaki’s app. Full LED lighting improves visibility and durability.
