We’ve compiled the most common questions we receive about pricing, shipping, warranties, and the overall Green Bike Sale experience. If you don’t see your answer here, our team of rider-support specialists is standing by at team@greenbikesale.com.
Absolutely. We have sold over 10,000 new motorcycles from Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha, BMW, KTM, Ducati, Triumph, Royal Enfield, and Harley-Davidson. We are rated 4.9 Stars by verified buyers. We provide a clean Manufacturer’s Statement of Origin (MSO) with every sale, and we answer our phones.
We operate on a high-volume, low-overhead model. Traditional dealerships have massive expenses: showroom leases, sales commissions, flooring costs (interest paid on inventory sitting on the floor), and service department overhead. We don’t. We source overstock and high-allocation units directly from manufacturer logistics channels and pass the savings to you. We’d rather sell 50 Kawasaki Ninjas at a $400 margin than 5 at a $2,000 margin.
No. We operate exclusively online and via phone. This is exactly why our prices are so low. Maintaining a showroom with bikes on the floor adds thousands of dollars to the price of every Harley-Davidson and Ducati sold. Instead, we invest that money in lower prices and better logistics.
We specialize in the world’s nine most popular and respected motorcycle manufacturers:
Japanese: Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki
European: BMW Motorrad, Ducati, Triumph, KTM
American: Harley-Davidson
Indian: Royal Enfield
We occasionally have access to limited inventory from Aprilia, Moto Guzzi, and Suzuki as well.
We pride ourselves on transparency. The price you see on the listing page includes the motorcycle itself. The following items are separate and clearly itemized on your Purchase Order before you pay:
Shipping/Freight: You choose your carrier and speed. We do not mark up shipping.
Sales Tax: Collected based on your state of residence (if applicable) or your responsibility to pay use tax.
Documentation Fee: A flat $199 fee covers MSO processing, FedEx overnight of paperwork, and title clerk labor.
No Dealer Prep Fee. No Market Adjustment Fee. Ever.
We accept the following secure payment methods:
Wire Transfer
Credit Card: We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express for deposits only (up to $2,000). Full payment via credit card is subject to a 3% processing fee.
We do not accept personal checks, PayPal, or Venmo.
We do not accept trade-ins directly. Because we operate on razor-thin margins, we cannot absorb the logistics cost of shipping a used trade-in to our hub. We recommend selling your current bike privately on CycleTrader or Facebook Marketplace to maximize its value before purchasing from us.
Our listed prices are already discounted to the absolute lowest sustainable level. We do not haggle, and we do not offer additional discounts for military, first responders, or multiple bike purchases. The price you see is the best price we can offer. This keeps it fair for every buyer.
100% Yes. Every motorcycle we sell is Brand New, Zero Miles (or extremely low delivery test miles only). You will receive the Manufacturer’s Statement of Origin (MSO) , which is the birth certificate of a new vehicle. It has never been titled, registered, or owned by a previous retail customer.
Yes. Because the motorcycle is new and untitled, the full manufacturer’s warranty applies exactly as if you purchased it from a brick-and-mortar dealership. Warranty coverage varies by brand:
| Brand | Standard New Vehicle Warranty |
|---|---|
| Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki | 12 Months, Unlimited Miles |
| Harley-Davidson | 24 Months, Unlimited Miles |
| BMW Motorrad | 36 Months, 36,000 Miles |
| Ducati | 24 Months, Unlimited Miles |
| Triumph | 24 Months, Unlimited Miles |
| KTM | 24 Months, 24,000 Miles |
| Royal Enfield | 36 Months, Unlimited Miles |
You can take your new Triumph Street Triple or KTM 390 Duke to any authorized dealer in the United States for warranty service.
Note: We may ship your motorcycle fully assembled “Roll-On/Roll-Off.” Your sales representative will confirm before shipping.
Most motorcycles ship Factory Crated. This means they are secured in the metal frame and cardboard packaging used for international shipping from the factory in Japan, Thailand, Germany, or India.
Assembly Optional: You (or a local mechanic/shop) will need to:
Install the front wheel
Install handlebars and controls
Install mirrors and windscreen (if equipped)
Install and charge the battery
Add engine oil and coolant (if applicable)
Add gasoline
We recommend budgeting $250 — $450 for a professional assembly and safety inspection at a local shop.
Yes. We offer Zürich and RPM One extended service contracts that can be added to any motorcycle we sell. These plans extend coverage beyond the factory warranty period and can include tire and wheel protection. Pricing varies by model. Ask your sales representative for a quote.

We take packaging seriously, but freight is a rough environment. Here is the procedure to protect your investment:
For U.S. Domestic Shipments:
Inspect the crate BEFORE signing the Bill of Lading.
If damage is visible, WRITE IT ON THE BILL OF LADING in detail (e.g., “Crate punctured left side, subject to inspection”).
Take clear photos of the crate and damage.
Email team@greenbikesale.com within 24 hours of delivery.
For International Shipments:
Request a Port Survey Report from the port authority before taking delivery.
File a claim with your Marine Cargo Insurance provider.
Notify team@greenbikesale.com for supporting documentation.
Important: If you sign the delivery receipt “Clear” or “Free of Damage,” you are waiving your right to file a freight claim.
No. Freight carriers require a physical street address with an adult present to sign for the delivery. PO Boxes and APO/FPO addresses cannot accommodate large freight deliveries.
Standard Curbside Liftgate delivery means the crate is lowered to the ground at the curb. The driver will not push the crate up your driveway or into your garage. If you require assistance, specify during checkout note to enable us make the necessary arrangements.
You will receive a complete documentation package via FedEx Overnight before or with your motorcycle delivery. This package includes:
Manufacturer’s Statement of Origin (MSO): The official document proving you own a new, untitled vehicle.
Bill of Sale: Proof of purchase and price paid.
Odometer Disclosure Statement: Federal requirement.
Any applicable warranty registration cards.
Take the MSO, Bill of Sale, and proof of insurance to your local Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or County Tax Assessor-Collector’s Office. The process is identical to registering a motorcycle purchased from a local dealer.
Pro Tip: Some DMV clerks are unfamiliar with out-of-state MSOs. If you encounter resistance, politely ask to speak with a supervisor. The MSO is a federally recognized document valid in all 50 states.
It depends on your country’s specific import laws.
Canada: Most U.S.-spec motorcycles are admissible through the RIV (Registrar of Imported Vehicles) program. We provide the necessary recall clearance letter.
Europe: EU countries have strict Euro 5/5+ emissions standards. Some U.S.-spec motorcycles may require modifications to the exhaust or ECU to pass local inspection.
Australia: Requires compliance with Australian Design Rules (ADR) . Many U.S.-spec bikes require headlight changes (for left-hand traffic) and a compliance plate inspection.
You are responsible for confirming that the specific VIN/model can be legally registered in your destination country. Let us know if you need any help.
Sales tax handling depends on your state and whether we have a physical presence (nexus) there.
We Collect Sales Tax: If we have nexus in your state, we will collect sales tax at checkout based on your delivery address.
You Pay Use Tax: If we do not have nexus in your state, you are responsible for paying Use Tax directly to your state’s Department of Revenue when you register the motorcycle.
Your Purchase Order will clearly indicate which scenario applies to your transaction.
All sales are final. Because we sell new, untitled vehicles, once the Manufacturer’s Statement of Origin (MSO) is issued in your name, the motorcycle is considered “used” or “pre-owned” for legal purposes, even with zero miles. We cannot accept returns.
This is why we encourage you to:
Research the model thoroughly before purchasing.
Sit on the same model at a local dealership (even if you don’t buy there).
Ask our team any and all questions before placing your deposit.
Cancellation terms depend on the stage of your order.
| Order Stage | Cancellation Policy |
|---|---|
| Before Payment / Deposit Only | Fully refundable. No questions asked. |
| After Full Payment / Before Shipment | 15% restocking fee applies to cover MSO re-issuance and administrative costs. |
| After Shipment | Cannot cancel. Sale is final. |
This is extremely rare because the motorcycles are brand new. However, if a mechanical issue is discovered during assembly:
Contact your local authorized dealer. The factory warranty covers all mechanical defects.
If the dealer identifies a manufacturing defect that existed prior to shipment, the warranty will cover the repair.
If the issue is related to shipping damage, follow the freight claim procedure outlined above.
Yes, we strongly recommend it. A licensed customs broker in your destination country will handle the complex paperwork, calculate duties and taxes, and ensure a smooth clearance process. We can recommend trusted brokers in many countries, or you may choose your own.
Incoterms define who pays for shipping, insurance, and when the risk of loss transfers from seller to buyer. Our standard terms for international shipments are:
FOB Origin (U.S. Port): Risk transfers to you when the motorcycle is loaded onto the vessel at the U.S. port. You arrange and pay for ocean freight and insurance.
EXW (Ex Works – Our Warehouse): You arrange and pay for all transportation from our door to yours.
For an additional fee, we can arrange CIF (Cost, Insurance, Freight) pricing where we manage the main carriage to your destination port.
Generally, no. Manufacturer warranties are territory-specific. A U.S.-spec BMW Motorrad sold by Green Bike Sale carries a warranty valid for service at U.S. BMW dealerships only. If you export the motorcycle to the United Kingdom, BMW UK is not obligated to perform warranty work.
Some manufacturers offer a “Global Warranty Transfer” for a fee. Please check with your local dealer before exporting.
We provide the standard U.S. export documentation package:
Commercial Invoice
Bill of Lading (Ocean) or Air Waybill (Air)
Manufacturer’s Statement of Origin (MSO)
Packing List
EPA/DOT Certification Labels (visible on the motorcycle)
You or your broker may need to have these documents translated, notarized, or legalized (Apostille) depending on your country’s requirements.
We’re here to help. Our team of riders and logistics experts is ready to assist you.
