2025 VULCAN® 900 CUSTOM

Overview

The 2025 VULCAN 900 CUSTOM is Kawasaki’s factory‑custom cruiser built around a torque‑rich 903cc V‑twin, long‑and‑low stance, and a distinctive skinny 21-inch front wheel. It blends classic cruiser proportions with modern reliability, fuel injection, and belt final drive, delivering approachable performance and easy day‑to‑day ownership.

Design and Presence

A raked front end, tall 21-inch front wheel, and chopped rear fender give the VULCAN 900 CUSTOM its signature stretched silhouette. Blacked‑out components and minimalist bodywork emphasize the engine and frame lines, while the drag‑style handlebar and sculpted seat create a streamlined, purposeful look that reads custom straight from the showroom.

Engine and Drivetrain

The liquid‑cooled 903cc V‑twin is tuned for strong low‑to‑midrange torque and smooth roll‑on power in real‑world riding. Electronic fuel injection helps provide consistent starts and throttle response, while a five‑speed transmission and low‑maintenance belt final drive contribute to refined, quiet operation.

Ergonomics and Ride

A low seat height, forward foot controls, and a relaxed reach to the bars create an easygoing riding position suited to urban and longer weekend routes. The chassis is designed for predictable handling, with a narrow front tire for light steering feel and a wide rear tire for planted stability. Suspension and braking are set up for confident control in everyday conditions.

Features and Ownership

Core features include fuel injection, belt drive, and straightforward instrumentation for key ride data. Kawasaki Genuine Accessories such as windscreens, saddlebags, and passenger backrests are typically available to tailor the bike for commuting, weekend trips, or stripped‑back style.
